Tokyo Orientation

Konnichiwa! I made it to Tokyo! I am pretty tired from all of the orientation stuff we've done, so I will come back and write more later, but I just wanted to write quickly to say that I've made it.

It's for sure different, but I know it will be a complete culture shock in a few weeks. Tokyo has a lot of English speakers and although it is somewhat difficult to find a place to eat without completely guessing on what you are going to be served, it isn't bad. Some other JETs and I were a little overwhelmed and a lot jet-lagged last night so KFC ended up being our choice of dining. The fries were better than in the states and the chicken was probably real chicken. So far the food at the hotel has been very tasty and the people are very polite even if I don't understand what they are saying!

I have some interesting stories to come so stay tuned!

Hola!! I know that's not japanese but that's about all i know how to say that isn't english. The pool isn't the same with you gone. I miss your random noises. I could always count on you to make me laugh. I hope that everything in Japan is going good. I was looking at swimteam pictues last night and they made me laugh so hard i almost started to cry (you and your faces were the funniest). Well i'll check your blog as often as i can, so update it just for me. I miss you and can't wait to see you next August. LOVE YA!!!!
